Water Quest Basstender 10.2
This is a great little boat for small areas, such as a small lake or river. I use it on a small river in central Florida. I power it with a 40lb. thrust trolling motor, and it moves it very good. They are trying to eliminate combustion engines on this river so this unit works great. I put the trolling motor on the front so I can see the areas I want to fish easier. It does "skid" a little like this when I am alone, but when two people are in the boat the control is much better. It has a small livewell, which is perfect for the panfish I catch. The rod holders are nice and use the navigation lite holder for another rod holder since I don't go out at night. The seats are comfortable, and there is adequate room for the gear I take. You can't stand as easily in a bigger boat, but you have to consider the cost. I think I have $1500 total including boat, motor, battery, etc. I use a utility trailer to haul it, but I think it will fit into a pick-up truck.

Just about Perfect!
I've owned one of these boats for over 10 years and it's perfect for my small lake, using an electric motor. I use a 55 lb. electric motor, which is the most powerful I can get that uses only one 12 volt battery. The boat has a seat for me and one for my little dog who goes with me. I feel perfectly safe if the wind comes up and there are whitecaps. It's been great!
So, I just ordered a NEW one to replace my old one, which is finally worn out! You can't go wrong with this little boat.

I should not have been as optimistic as I was that the new model boat would be better than my old one! Please read below to hear more!
Great easy to use, Little Boat for one or two.
I owed a Pelican Scorpio and needed an upgrade. I found this and I couldn't find anything better for the price. The packaging was great (comes on a huge pallet and in a bag). I noticed some features a lot of sites didn't mention like a bow light (green and red) and a tall 5' white stern light. They just plug in and if the battery is hooked up they turn on. It also has 3 spots for rod holders, and two foam horizontal rod holders on the side. Its faster than my old boat and turns on a dime. I use a 7.5 hp johnson but the rating says 7 hp max. With two people and all the gear etc. it moves just fine. When I go full throttle a little water kicks up in front, so I back off a little. I put it in my F150 (6' bed) and use an electric winch and Pressure treated board with some indoor/outdoor carpet on it to get it in, works great. Getting it in the water couldn't really be easier, back it in and push it out. Its made well, better than the pelican was and has the same 2 hull design. Some water...
