Great military issued sight.
Through years of training with the Aimpoint M2 sight on an M4 carbine, a year in the sand with it, and half a year with my ML3 on my AR-15, they are great sights.
These are tough, well made weapon sights that will take a lot of abuse and still hold a zero. With the 2 MOA dot, you keep a clear, crisp dot which helps you engage targets further out. Worried about close quarters and think the 4 MOA dot will be better? When you turn the power up the 2 MOA gets to about the size of a 20 MOA dot.
I saw no reason for night vision settings, so I got the ML3 version. Batteries last a long time even with a lot of use.
I recommend the Larue mount since this ISN'T and airsoft sight, this is quality and needs a quality mount. Highly recommend this product for anyone, especially those who shoot poorly because they can't get a good sight picture. Put the dot on the target (and the dot can be anywhere in the tube) and fire, that's where you will hit with use of basic...

Holds zero, more accurate than you are
These sights are the best in the world, and you pay for that. However, there's no law that says you need the latest and greatest. Do your wallet a favor and go back a couple generations when dealing with Aimpoint products, unless you're heading to Afghanistan sometime soon and it's your life on the line.
