Great Optics, Low Price!
I've only had this scope a couple weeks, so I've only been to the range with it once. It zeroed very nicely (even at 100 yds) and with the 18x magnification, I can defeintely see as far as I'll ever be able to shoot with a .22LR! The optics are also very clear as long as there's sufficient light.
I can't wait to take it to the range again to see how well it holds zero.
Almost all .22 ammo types shoot differently, so the trajectory compensation turrents probably won't be perfect, but they'll definitely be close! When going from 50 to 100 yds, I think I had to make an additional MOA of correction (4 clicks) beyond the "100" mark because I was using CCI subsonic ammo with a slightly steeper trajectory. Standard loads will probably require even less fine-tuning.

Excellent .22 Scope, especially if you get it on sale
I purchased this Scope on my wife's amazon account to top a Savage Mark 2 BTV. At the time there was a good sale so I upgraded from the 3-9x zoom version.
This scope is great for the money. The 1/4 MOA click adjustments are solid with just a little slack between each one, and are pretty close on the elevation. As mentioned in another review I needed 3 extra clicks to get on bull at 100 yards, but I was shooting CCI standard velocity, which is slower than the directions indicated. Still very easy though.
The focus adjustment is great. I have shot and adjusted from 50 ft to 125 yards so far with good clarity. Most of the zoom range is great as well.
The only negatives I have noticed are:
1) That above 14x magnification I have difficulty keeping the field of view clear even with a solid cheek weld to the great stock of the BTV. Anything 14x or below is excellent and really you don't often need the high magnification with a .22. I was...
BSA: better than expected.
I researched scopes for my son's new Savage Mark II-FV for several days. I read through hundreds of reviews. I then visited Dicks Sporting Goods and Cabellas retail stores- to actually compare various models I was interested in. I picked up a Sweet 17 @ Cabellas (the Sweet-22 was out of stock).. and physically compared it to Centerpoint, Tasco, Barska, Bushnell, Simmons, and some higher-end optics like Nikon, Pentax, and Burris.
The clarity was very good, the reticle was clear and unobtrusive. It was very easy to focus, though a little stiff- likely due to it not being mounted to a rifle. It seemed adequate when viewing low-light areas of the store. The scope is heavy and well-constructed. It was just what we needed- in our price-range.
