Fantastic optic between a monocular and spotting scope
I have not a bad word to say against the amazing Bushbell HD. Wit their new Special Forces product manager in full force the line is coming along nicely. The Bushnell HDMR scope is a great example of that. The Legend Monocular is no slouch either. Caught somewhere between a spotting scope and a monocular its a niche items but very useful. The fact it runs a real mil reticle makes it worth its asking price and more. At this price point you will not find a similar scope/monocular that also has a good mil reticle in it. Who needs a mil reticle you ask? It really depends. Anyone doing a form of distance shooting or hunting is well served with one. Anyone doing precision shooting pretty much requires one. At the price Bushnell is charging everyone from the nature watcher and bird watcher to the tactical shooting to the rhttp://www.youtube.com/gp/customer-reviews?ie=UTF8&action=preview#eal life operator is well served bu one.

Awesome, more than I expected
very clear glass. very easy to use for mil-dot range calculations. easy to use overall. able to spot 308 shots at 1400 yard targets, not bullet holes but hits. able to use to find mirage.
Reticle was canted approx 12-15 degrees clockwise and lack of edge to edge clarity.
The scope is a great size. Erogonomics are good.

The first reason for the low rating comes from the canted reticle. I returned this scope as it was unusable for my purposes.

The second monocular suffered from lack of edge to edge clarity. The middle 40% was crystal clear, good color and sharp, the remaining 60% suffered from increasing distortion as you moved more to the edge of the field of view.

Having a Brunton monocular as comparison that is several years old I have to say the overall optical clarity is sub par. The center is clear and color is true, the edge to edge clarity just is not there.

I am very disappointed as I was really rooting for this to be a winner and sadly it is not.
