The Scotty #449 Clamp Mount is a fully portable mounting option for all Scotty post mount rod holders and is made from super tough reinforced nylon. Works with a #241 Combination Side/Deck Mount, although, it is not included.
With so many on offer these days, it is great to have a name you can trust. This item is certainly that and will be a perfect buy. The distributor have added some great touches and this equals great value.

Great on my boat
Fits perfectly on the transom of my Smoker Craft 15 Alaskan Deluxe. It will also fit the gunwales for side mounting. Just what I was looking for.

Disappointed
When it arrived I was excited....it looks like it is built bulletproof to be honest.....I put it on my boat, and it didn't fit....not even close. I have a typical 16' Jon boat. the clamp wasn't deep enough to fit over the 1 3/4" round gunwhale (railing) To say I'm extremely disappointed is an understatement.
I read so many great reviews that I thought for sure it would fit.
Pleasantly Surprized
I was pleasantly surprized to find the portable clamp mount also came with the mounting bracket. The clamp allows me to move between boats.
