Not bad for the price
I've always been a big fan of the ugly stick but when I saw this pink one...I was really excited. I had to have it. Prime is great too...got it in time to fish with the guys. Hahaha, I caught a 17" rainbow trout but had to release it. This rod I recommend for small-medium action but the reel is weak. I replaced my reel that came with the rod immediately after I caught my trout. Happy fishing and good luck!

pleasantly surprised
I have never owned an ugly stick, but my friend had. Hers had burned up in a shed fire. She alway's talked about it when we went fishing. So I bought this one for her birthday. When I took it out of the box, and got it ready to fish I was really surprised to see how good it was. Especially the reel. I think I was expecting a kid's combo. Not so this is high quality and she is very happy. So am I. I will be the next to get one.
Great combo
My grandson bought this rod and reel for my wife (his nana), the rod is great can't go wrong with a Ugly stick, the reel is nice but you may want to upgrade to a better reel in the future overall its a great combo.
