Excellent Ultralight Rig
I am not an every weekend fisherman but I like to take my 3 kids to local ponds, rivers, and lakes to fish every few weeks. I purchased this combo to compliment my Zebco Omegas with a lighter set up for panfish, perch, etc. It casts a country mile and has a silky smooth retrieve. It's impossible to foul and is virtually maintenance free. Great value!

Dandy little rod combo...
Haven't had a chance yet to soak a line with these, but first glace looks like a winner for the price for my 3 1/2 and 5 1/2 year old boys to grow in to. Not too heavy. 2-piece so easy to carry. Hook keeper is nice and it's got a nice reel per the reviews I've read. It's the same exact reel as the Zebco 11 platinum with a titanium case(verified this with Zebco customer service). The rod is pretty cool looking, my kids will dig the colors and translucent end. Will post a report once we get a chance to get the lines wet a few times.
